Welcome
to the About section of Progfreaks.com. As you may have already deduced
from browsing around the rest of the website's sections, the purpose
of Progfreaks.com is to provide you, the listener, with relevant information
about the artists that constitute the ever-expanding genre of progressive
rock. That means symphonic rock, progressive metal, classic progressive
rock, etc., will be covered here. No favoritism. No exceptions. Everything
the website's staff can get its hands on will be used here, and that's
a promise.
That, however, is only half the battle. Progfreaks.com is interested
not only in providing you with news, interviews, reviews, and other
information that may be interesting to you, but in providing quality
information as well. The website's interviews will be designed only
after considerable reading up on the interviewed musician/band is done,
reviews will be consciously and carefully written, news will only be
included when they're of some interest to you, and, basically, everything
will be done the Progfreaks.com way. That is, the right way. And that's
a promise too.
Progfreaks.com is a website designed for the fans, and as such one of
its main objectives is to cater to the fans' interests whenever possible.
There will be no omission of information in order to gain a band's favor,
and there will never be an ad that is not related to progressive rock
in any way. Progfreaks.com, however, is also a website for the bands.
It is a way for them to get additional exposure and keep the fans up
to date, and it is with that in mind that Progfreaks.com will always
make the utmost effort to reward the efforts of bands with quality exposure.
As you may have already guessed, that's Progfreaks.com's third promise.
All in all, Progfreaks.com is a website devoted to excellence. Fans
and bands alike are to expect only the best from its staff, which will
in turn do its best to comply. After all, with three promises written
down already, there is a lot to live up to. Progfreaks.com will do it.
You just sit back and enjoy.
