Karda
Estra - A Winter
in Summertime: Here is where it all started. One of the
most thoroughly original and interesting bands to appear on the
progressive rock scene in recent years, and its debut A Winter
in Summertime contains the most rock when compared to its two
follow-ups. Ethereal, gothic, and hauniting in nature, it is a
lofty debut and a beautifully whimsical affair.

Lutz
Ulbrich - Kurzmusiken:
An elemental pillar of the electronic explorations that gave German
progressive rock its identity and earned it respect worldwide,
Lutz Ulbrich brings his many facets and inspirations to life with
this quite original outing. Pop, ambient, electronic, minimalism...they
all flow effortlesly one after the other and take the listener
through the various phases that Ulbrich has gone through in his
life. A memorable collection of sonic experiments, and a joy to
listen to.

Carl
Weingarten - Pandora's
Garage: Carl Weingarten is a sonic architect whose musical
whims exude a charming exquisiteness and a velvet delicacy that
envelops the listener in warm waves of sound. Like a gentle soundtrack
of beautiful, yet serene and wondering, splendor, Pandora's Garage
is another gorgeous journey through this man's beautiful ideas. |

Transatlantic
- Bridge
Across Forever: Another one in my list of high expectations,
especially after the monster album that they released as a debut.
Bridge Across Forever is not only far from being a disappointment;
it's also a monster album as well!

Arise
From Thorns - Before
an Audience of Stars: After listening to the excellent
and awe-inspiring EP from this band (now known as Brave), I couldn't
have expected any less. A great album, without a doubt.
